About the work of the "Young Ornithologists" group

   The "Young Ornithologists" group of the Manevytskyi Center for Creativity of Children and Youth has been working on the basis of the "Kolkiv Secondary School I-III Levels-Lyceum" for many years. During classes in a group, students study the peculiarities of the structure, lifestyle and variety of birds. People from Gurtkov become familiar with the problems of nature protection, the negative consequences of anthropogenic influence on nature.

    In classes  various forms and methods of work are used: classes-competitions, individual and group classes, workshops, practical research , tours, lectures and others.

    During the year, residents of Hurtkiv take part in various competitions not only at the district, but also  regional and All-Ukrainian levels.

   The results of the group's activities in 2016:

 

• Winners of the district stage of the All-Ukrainian action "Bird Meeting Day"

• Winners of the regional stage  competition of zoologists and animal breeders;

• 3rd place in the regional stage of the All-Ukrainian competition of experimental and research works in natural science "Young researcher";

• Participants of the regional stage of the competition "Touch of the environment";

• 3rd place of the regional stage of the competition-protection of agrarian associations  "Care of the youth to you, Ukraine!";

• Winners of the district stage of the "Flower Parade near the school" competition

• 1st place in the  regional stage of the competition-survey of educational sites

• Awarded a silver medal at the All-Ukrainian Ecology Olympiad DreamECO
