Regulations on the body of student self-government

 

 Goal:Student self-government is the organization of the life of the student body, which contributes to the development in students of the feeling of being the master of the school, of their relationships and activities, the ability to cooperate according to the principles of equality, transparency, democracy, positively affects the formation of certain moral qualities (responsibility, organization, humanity) in students through inclusion of students in a dynamic system of roles, assignments, duties, which is a kind of simulator, where these qualities are practically produced.

  Student self-government aims to -  expand the range of activities of adults and children who are members of a single team, their opportunities for fellowship, creative search, initiative.

  The activities of self-government bodies are democratic, humane in nature and are aimed at the formation of children's national consciousness, spirituality, patriotism, the foundations of morality, positive social experience, physical perfection, diligence, loyalty to the ideas of Ukraine's independence and unity.

Organizational leadership

Organizational leadership in the school is carried out by the student self-government body  "School night".

Its members include: the deputy director for educational work, a teacher-organizer and students who, on the recommendation of the class teacher, agree to actively participate in the work of student self-government bodies.

Terms

1.     Student self-government is an executive body in the school.

2.  The student self-government at the school is elected at the beginning of the year for one academic year by open voting at the general assembly of students in grades 5-11.

3.   General meetings are held at least once during the academic year

4.  The most active, disciplined students of grades 5-11, who enjoy authority and trust in the children's team, are elected to student self-government.

5.   The quantitative composition of the body of student self-government is determined by the general meeting depending on the number of classes and students.

Organization of work of student self-government

1. The student self-government body elects its chairman, deputy and secretary from among its members.

2. The head  organizes the work of the student self-government body, at the invitation of the school director, attends the meeting of the pedagogical councils and participates in the discussion of issues related to the activities of the children's team.

3. The secretary of the student self-government body organizes control over the implementation of decisions, keeps minutes of meetings and makes announcements about the implementation of decisions.

4. In accordance with the implementation of the decisions of the main content of the work of student self-government, centers are created. The activities of the centers, their number and names are determined by the student self-government in agreement with the school directorate.

Educational and cognitive center:

 - conducts activities that stimulate the quality of knowledge:

 - organizes mutual assistance in learning (work of students-consultants on subjects in the class team);

 - control of readiness for lessons;

-helps the teacher in equipping classrooms, organizes the production of teaching aids, didactic and distribution materials, repair of old didactic materials in school conditions;

members of the center take part in the preparation and conduct of conversations in classes (about the daily schedule, homework);

-  prepares and conducts subject Olympiads, contests of connoisseurs, erudites, subject evenings;

 - participation in MAN.

 The Center for Public and Charitable Affairs – cares for the preservation of school property, improvement of the school territory and carries out charitable activities:

-   contributes to the development of philanthropy, compassion for the difficulties and concerns of other people,

organizes assistance to the elderly, disabled, veterans, and singles;

-  stimulates the moral integrity of peers - children with special needs, involves them in their collective affairs;

-  monitors the preservation of school property and textbooks;

-   organizes activities for the improvement of the territory;

-  conducts labor operations;

-  organizes ongoing repair of school property;

-   takes care of replenishing the material base of classrooms and the museum of the village of Kolka, the art gallery.

Child Rights Protection Center:

-     provides social protection and organizes assistance to students from low-income families, orphans, and semi-orphans;

-     ensures the protection of the rights and interests of students;

-  organizes the work of the school "Bureau of finds" and the student "Bureau of good services"; monitors students' compliance with the School Charter;

-     promotes insurance conditions among schoolchildren;

-    takes care of younger students;

-   implements plans for the implementation of measures to ensure the implementation of the National Program for the Education of Children and Student Youth in Ukraine.

The Center for Discipline and Order conducts activities that instill conscious discipline in students

and self-service:

-   keeps records of attendance, fights tardiness and absenteeism, monitors the quality of the rotation of class teams, conducts raids and inspections of the sanitary condition of classes, appearance, discipline during breaks;

-    maintains order in the school-lyceum;

-    ensures that all students know and follow the Rules for students;

-     controls the publication of the newspaper based on the results of the duty at the school "The duty officer speaks

class";

-     appoints the rotation of students in the evenings;

-     supervises the sanitary day at the lyceum;

-     monitors the preservation of school property, helps during the operation "Live, book!";

-     stimulates the formation of healthy lifestyle skills, uses measures of educational influence on discipline violators.

Center for leisure and interesting activities - cares about the aesthetic education of schoolchildren, their development

artistic abilities, studies the folklore of the region, forms a culture of behavior and conservation

health:

-   organizes the work of creative circles and clubs, meetings with cultural and artistic figures, cult trips to theaters, cinema, exhibitions, concerts;

-   attracts students to clubs, to participation in school-wide events;

- manages cultural and mass events, organizes school and class evenings, holidays of the national calendar, traditional lyceum holidays, distributes among students and classes assignments for the preparation of these events;

-   studies students' wishes regarding the organization of evenings, holidays, mornings, discos, health days, excursions;

- prepares creative exhibitions of students' works;

-   directs cultural, mass and sports work in each class:

-   informs the school about news of the village's cultural life;

-   manages the work of school discos, organizes and conducts school sports

competition;

-   organizes the leisure time of younger schoolchildren in a health summer camp.

Agency "School News Service" - acquaints students with news and events, forms

high culture, improves mastery of the Ukrainian language:

-  controls the production of newspapers, bulletins, and magazines;

-  coordinates the work of the editorial board with class teams;

-   organizes and controls the issue of thematic newspapers, holiday cards;

-  organizes the operation of the radio node;

- informs about the holding of holidays, evenings, and other events;

-  helps in designing cool corners;

-   organizes exhibitions of children's works, keeps the annals of the lyceum;

-  creates an information bank, participates in the preparation of the school's work plan (surveys,

questionnaire).

4.  A teacher-consultant is assigned to each center: educational and cognitive center -

   Reykina M.F., center of discipline and order - Sadovy M.V.;the center of leisure and interesting activities -; Komarinska G.V. agency "School News Service" - Kopylets N.V.; center of public and charitable affairs -  O.M. Nevirkovets; child rights protection center - Klepanchuk O.V.

5.  The meeting of the student self-government body is held at least once a month. As needed, the heads of classes are also invited to the meeting.

6.  The publicity of the work of student self-government, the promptness of bringing its decisions to each student, is ensured by regular information of its members and elders at class meetings, through the wall press and a special announcement stand. The headmaster organizes the students of the class to implement the decisions of the student self-government body and at class meetings, gives instructions to students, ensures the preparation and holding of class meetings, and the work of duty officers.

7.      The body of student self-governance establishes rotations by school and by class.
