PREFACE

Ukrainians are the only Cossack nation in the world. The Cossacks are a disciplined organization of the Ukrainian people, a primordial form of its self-organization and self-defense in times of adversity based on the ancient Custom — Freedom as a crystallized ethnic mind.

After the destruction of the Zaporizhia Sich in 1775, despite the long process of denationalization and denationalization of Ukrainians by the Moscow Empire, the living chain of inheritance of the Ukrainian Cossacks was never interrupted: 1775–1828 — Transdanubia Sich; 1783–1868 — Ukrainian Cossack troops and formations as part of the imperial army; 1783–1917 — the Cossack state was preserved in Ukraine; 1904–1914 sich movement in Galicia. Creation of the Legion of Ukrainian snipers; 1917–1922 — the stormy rise of the restoration of the Cossacks, his struggle for the restoration of an independent and cathedral Ukraine; 1918–1933 — the existence of the Ukrainian Free Cossacks in Ukraine, and until 1990 — the preservation of the spirituality and traditions of the Ukrainian Cossacks in the mentality and morals of the national-patriotic layer of ethnic Ukrainians in the Motherland and in the Ukrainian diaspora.

Modern Ukrainian Cossacks were restored in Ukraine in 1990 and have as their goal a historical mission — through the struggle for the independence and unity of Ukraine, the restoration in the ethnic memory of Ukrainians of deep national-patriotic beliefs, traditions and boundless love for one's Motherland - to embody in the life of the Ukrainian people and encourage the Ukrainian National Idea for eternity.

Cultivating in a person a patriot of his Motherland, love for his native land, love for his Ukraine should start from early childhood.

Foreigners called our Motherland Ukraine a free "COSSACK REPUBLIC" and spoke with deep respect about its desperate defenders - the Zaporozhian Cossacks. Who are they? What were they like, what were they passionate about, where did they draw strength for their character? These and a number of questions have to be answered by an approximate joint program for the activities of younger schoolchildren — Cossacks (children aged 6–10 years), middle-aged schoolchildren — Cossack jurors (ages 10–15 years) and high school students — Young Cossacks (aged 15–18 years old).

Zaporozhian Cossacks are the pride of the Ukrainian nation, and the program should instill in children this pride for their ancestors, filial loyalty, teach them to be strong, strong, ready to give their lives if the fate of their native Motherland is decided, as the famous Zaporozhian Cossacks did.

In the process of long historical development, the Cossacks were the leading force and form of spiritual unification of society in Ukraine. The era of the Cossacks created a deep multifaceted spirituality, which became the pinnacle of Ukrainian national culture.

In Cossack times, our people were characterized by a high level of nobility, morality, spirituality, prowess and achievements, knowledge and impeccable observance of national traditions and customs. In the Cossack state, there was no such shameful phenomenon as homeless children. Children were taken care of by the whole society. These qualities are needed by the Ukrainian people even today — in the period of restoration of their statehood and especially tomorrow, in the process of building and strengthening the power of our Motherland, in the process of practical actions to restore and enrich the GLORY OF UKRAINE.

Therefore, today schoolchildren need to be educated in deep feelings of patriotism and national dignity, the qualities of a defender of the Motherland, a high level of general culture and folk knowledge (folk astronomy, medicine, agronomy , meteorology) folk aesthetics, morality, arts.

The implementation of these tasks should be facilitated by the Regulations on children and youth, military and sports patriotic game "JURA", which in terms of directions, form and content is designed for school youth, as well as for pre-conscription and conscript youth at the place of residence under the conditions of skillful, literate , proactive and active leadership of adult Cossacks - patriots, senior comrades, in particular teachers-organizers of children's groups, teachers of history, Ukrainian language and literature, professional soldiers, physical education teachers and sports coaches, leaders of vocal and dance groups, who will ensure a positive result of educational events - the educational process.

Proposals Regulations on the directions and content of youth education are implemented by organizing a purposeful systemic direction in the educational and educational process in student classes, in units, circles, sections and links interests, in the process of the military-sports patriotic Cossack game "JURA" during extracurricular hours in educational and extracurricular educational institutions, at the place of residence, during the camp gathering of pre-conscript and conscript youth.

The appropriate activity should cover almost all areas of student life, while it is necessary to take into account the peculiarity that the Cossacks at SICHI were only men, therefore, for girls of the appropriate age , where the content of the program questions cannot be the same, it is worth creating a group in parallel, which would provide for their preparation for future married life. In the past, a woman was a faithful companion of a Cossack, she was a guardian of her family, her father's house, but at the same time, in every difficult hour, a woman is a warrior who can defend her land from the enemy, that is, to stand up for her Cossack husband, if necessary. A mother-woman brought up in her children (and first of all in boys) courage, courage, firmness and determination, other strong-willed features of the Cossack character necessary for the defender of the Motherland.

All these conceptual and programmatic issues of youth education are reflected in the Regulation, which has two sections: the first — directions and content of national-spiritual and military-patriotic education and the second — the organization and content of the military-sports, patriotic game "JURA".

According to the content of the Regulations, certain spiritual and physical efforts are required from the leadership of the game to organize an interesting and effective game, but this should not be a restraining factor in the educational process . Today, due to its complexity, something will not be completely fulfilled, will not be achieved... Nothing... But tomorrow, over time, the set goal will be achieved.

The road is overcome by the one who walks. "In order to reach the goal, one must first of all go."

Our Goal is to consciously master the heroic, chivalrous, humane, and democratic past of our ancestors — the Ukrainian Cossacks, its traditions, culture, science, military art, and economy — to SPIRITUALLY AND MORALLY RISE TO THE LEVEL OF THE UKRAINIAN NATIONAL IDEA AND ENSURE its VIABILITY FOR ETERNITY.

For work, freedom, for the happiness of the people,

To you, Ukraine, our song.

Chorus: Like the flowers in the grove are colorful and lush,

We are all a Ukrainian family,

We will create, learn,

Because a free star shines for us.

Because our great-grandfathers loved freedom,

They led their sons to the future,

And they bequeathed to us, their descendants,

To love Ukraine as home.

May the sun shine brightly for us on high,

And the earth cares for the saint,

"Cossack race has no translation",

I carry that oath in my heart.

Chorus.
