1.Purpose and task

Physical culture and health patriotic festival of schoolchildren of Ukraine "Descendants of Cossack Glory" (hereinafter the festival) aims to form a healthy lifestyle, increase social activity and strengthen health, relying on the best traditions of the Ukrainian people, involving schoolchildren in physical culture as a component of universal human culture .

The main tasks of the festival are:

maintaining the optimal level of physical development and increasing the motor activity of schoolchildren;

creation of conditions for objective self-assessment and self-improvement of one's own health;

formation of stable motivations for independent physical education and sports;

revival of national traditions of a healthy lifestyle.

2. Organization and management of the event

Physical culture and recreation patriotic festival of schoolchildren of Ukraine "Descendants of Cossack Glory" is held in four rounds:

I round — school festival — September–October

II round — district (city) festivals – October;

III round — regional festivals — April–May;

IV round — All-Ukrainian festival — June–July.

    The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the Committee on Physical Education and Sports of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine conduct the overall management and control of the festival.

The organization and conduct of the 1st round is entrusted to the organizing committee and the main panel of judges of the general educational institution.

The organization and holding of the II round of the festival is entrusted to the Department of Education and Science of the district (city) state administrations. Direct conduct is carried out by relevant organizing committees and panels of judges.

    The management and organization of the festival in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, oblasts, Kyiv and Sevastopol are carried out by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, the Department of Education and Science of Oblasts, Kyiv and Sevastopol city state administrations together with the Crimean republican, regional, Kyiv and Sevastopol city administrations for physical education and sports of the Committee on physical education and sports of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. Direct holding of the III round of the festival is entrusted to the organizing committee and the panel of judges.

The direct holding of the IV round of the festival is entrusted to the All-Ukrainian Organizing Committee and the main panel of judges.

    The organizational committees of all levels include representatives of education management bodies, physical education and sports departments of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, institutes of postgraduate pedagogical education, regional centers of tourism and regional studies of schoolchildren, public organizations that express a desire to provide organizational, financial or other assistance in holding the festival.

3. Participants of the festival

      Pupils of grades 5-12, who are classified as primarily medical in terms of health status, participate in the first round.

Pupils assigned to the preparatory medical group due to their health condition take part in those tests that are not contraindicated for them due to their health condition.

Pupils assigned to a special medical group due to their health condition participate in the tests as judges and assistants. The age of students of one parallel may vary within two years (for example: 1992-1993). Pupils who repeat their studies in this class are not admitted to the I--IV rounds of the festival.

      In the II round, the collective team of a comprehensive educational institution, consisting of 16 people, is participating:

5th grade — 1 class. + 1 virgin

6th grade — 1 class. + 1 virgin

7th grade — 1 class. + 1 virgin

8th grade — 1 class. + 1 virgin

9th grade — 1 class. + 1 virgin

10th grade — 1 class. + 1 virgin

11th grade — 1 class. + 1 virgin

12th grade — 1 class. + 1 virgin

   The winner of the II round takes part in the III round. The team consists of 16 people, a physical education teacher and a class teacher.

   The winners of the III round of the competition take part in the IV round. The team consists of 16 people, a physical education teacher and a class teacher.

4. Festival program

1. "Shuttle" run 4.9 m.

2. Long jump from a standing position.

3. Orientation on the terrain: "Cossack trails".

4. Bending and extending the arms in a lying position.

5. Tug of war (separately for boys and girls).

6. "Hertz of the Cossacks" relay (separately for grades 5-8 and grades 9-12).

7. Contest of connoisseurs of the history of the Ukrainian Cossacks "History belongs only to those who fight and live for it...".

6. Presentation of the team "Don't waver, red viburnum, you have a white flower." Don't be sad, glorious Ukraine, you have a good family..."

5. Determination and awarding of festival winners

The winning team in each type is determined by the sum of 16 results. If the team does not have a score (8 + 8), then the lower result among all participants of the competition is added.

In all events, the winners are determined by the lowest number of places scored by all team members. The result of the team in the relay is determined by the sum of the times of both teams.

The team's presentation is evaluated out of 20 points and is included in the overall score. Tug-of-war is held according to the Olympic system with the determination of the correspondingly occupied places. The contest for connoisseurs of the history of the Ukrainian Cossacks is valued at 5 points (1 point for the correct answer). The winner is determined by the highest amount of points.

The overall team place is determined by the lowest sum of places gained by the team in all types of the program. If the sum of places of two or more teams is the same, preference is given to the team with more I, II, III, etc. places In case of equality and this indicator, preference is given to the team that has more I, II, III, etc. places in the personal standings.

The winning team and prize-winners of the IV All-Ukrainian tour of the festival, physical education teachers who prepared them, are awarded diplomas of the Committee on Physical Education and Sports of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine of the appropriate degree, commemorative prizes, medals.

The winning teams and those who took 2nd place in the tug-of-war competition are awarded diplomas of the Committee on Physical Education and Sports of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, and commemorative prizes.

All participants of the IV round are awarded with badges and pennants.

6. Financial costs

The expenses related to the organization and holding of the first, second and third rounds of the festival are borne by the education management bodies of local state administrations.

The following order of expenses for the final tour of the festival is established:

expenses for the travel of participants and team representatives to and from the venue, per diems on the road, accommodation and food for representatives during the final tour are borne by the education management bodies of local state administrations;

organization and holding of competitions, travel, per diems on the road, accommodation and meals of judges, accommodation and meals of festival participants — at the expense of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine;

purchase of prizes for awarding the teams that won I, II, III places in the overall standings, diplomas, badges, pennants, posters — at the expense of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.

7. Procedure and deadline for submitting applications

After the 1st round (appendix 1), the secondary school sends the application and report (appendices 2, 4) to the district (city) organizing committee for the festival.

District (city) organizing committees and judges' panels determine the participants of the II round (it is possible to hold II round competitions in subgroups or zones followed by the final part). Based on the results of the II round, the materials (Appendix 3, 4) are sent to the Crimean Republican, regional, Kyiv and Sevastopol city organizing committees.

According to the results of the III round of the festival, the Crimean republican, regional, Kyiv and Seva-stopol city organizing committees send materials (appendices 2, 3, 4, a copy of the birth certificate and a copy of the identification number of each participant) to the winners-participants of the IV round of the festival by June 1 of the current academic year to the All-Ukrainian Organizing Committee at the address: Kyiv, str. Comintern, 4, Committee on Physical Education and Sports of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.

 

Appendix 5

   Conditions for carrying out tests at the physical culture and health festival of schoolchildren of Ukraine "Descendants of Cossack Glory"

"Shuttle" run (4.9 m)

Equipment. Stopwatches recording tenths of a second, a flat running track 9 meters long, bounded by two parallel lines, behind each line - 2 semicircles with a radius of 50 centimeters centered on the line, 2 wooden cubes (5.5 centimeters).

Description of the test. At the command "Start!" the participant takes a high start position at the starting line. On the command "Rush!" he runs 9 meters to the second line, takes one of the two wooden cubes lying in the circle, runs back and places it in the starting circle. Then he runs for the second cube and, taking it, turns back and puts it in the starting circle.

The test result is the time from the start to the moment when the test participant placed the second cube in the starting circle. General instructions and comments. The cube should be placed in a semicircle, not thrown. If the die is rolled, the attempt is not counted. The treadmill should be flat, non-slippery.

2. Long jumps from a standing position

Equipment. Non-slip surface with a line and marking in centimeters.

Description of the test. The test participant stands with his toes to the line, swings his arms back, then sharply brings them forward, pushing off with his legs, jumps as far as possible.

The result of the test is the jump distance in centimeters in the best of two attempts.

General instructions and comments. The test is conducted in accordance with the rules of the long jump competition. The place of push-off and landing should be on the same level.

3. Bending and extending the arms in a supine position

Description of the test. The participant takes the position of the stop lying down. The head, torso, legs are in a straight line, hands are perpendicular to the floor. At the command "You can!", the participant bends his arms at the elbow joints to an angle of 90 degrees or less. After that, he stretches his arms until they are fully straightened. The exercise is repeated as many times as the participant has enough strength. the result of the test is the number of error-free flexion and extension of the arms, during which no condition is violated.

General instructions and comments. It is not allowed to bend and twist the body in the thoracic and lumbar regions of the spine, hip and knee joints, to make auxiliary movements of the pelvis, to rest in the position of lying down for more than 3 seconds.

Only one approach is allowed.

The test is terminated if the participant fails to fix the desired position more than 2 times in a row.

3. Orientation on the terrain: "Cossack trails"

Equipment. Compass, route sheets, terrain plans, stopwatches.

"Cossack trails" is a pair run over a distance of two athletes of the same team, who must find control points (CP) on the terrain in the minimum time, while the order of "taking" the KP is not regulated.

Races are paired, two athletes from each team start at the same time (in parallel — 1 male + 1 female), who run the distance together and finish together. At least one member of the "patrol" must have a compass.

Start interval — 1 minute.

The length of the distance is 1000 m with 5 CP.

Determination of results. The winner is the pair of participants who, in the shortest possible time, found all the checkpoints on the terrain and made a mark on each of them in a special route sheet.

The overall winning team is determined by the smallest amount of time shown by all participants (8 pairs).

5. Tug of war

Equipment. A non-slip surface of the playground with a line that divides the playground into equal parts. A rope with a mark in the middle.

Description of the test. Test participants stand in a column one by one and grab the rope with both hands. The referee holds the rope so that the mark in the middle of the rope is above the line dividing the court into equal parts. At the signal, the referee lets go of the rope and steps aside. The team that pulled the rope to its side wins.

General instructions and comments. Competitions are held separately for boys and girls according to the Olympic system. The tug-of-war is considered a winner if the rope mark is in the winning team's half for at least 15 seconds.

5. Relay "Hertz Cossack Jury"

The relay is held separately for students of grades 5–8 and 9–12.

Stages of the relay:

1st stage - 50 m - "cargo transfer" - 8th grade boys. and 12th grade;

2nd stage - 50 m - "jumping over the hills" - girls of 8th grade. and 12 cl;

3rd stage — 50 m — "crossing" — boys 7th grade. and 11th grade;

4th stage - 50 m - "slalom" - girls 7th grade. and 11th grade;

5th stage - 50 m - "over the fence" - boys of 6th grade. and 10th grade;

6th stage - 50 m - "jumper" - girls of 6th grade. and 10th grade;

7th stage - 50 m - "slider" - boys 5th grade. and 9th grade;

8th stage - 50 m - "delivered the package" - girls 5th grade. and 9th grade

"Load carrying" — carrying 2 stuffed balls weighing 1 kg for boys 8 cl. and weighing 3 kg for boys 12 cl.

"Jumps over the mounds" - circles with a diameter of 30 cm are drawn on the track at a distance of 100 cm from each other and a width of 50 cm. The participant must overcome the distance of the stage by jumping from "mud" to "mud".

"Crossing" - the participant holds in his hands 2 boards, measuring 20.30 cm. Placing each board in turn on the track and stepping on it, the participant must cover the distance of the stage.

"Slalom" - pins (posts, cubes, etc.) are installed on the track at a distance of 3 m from each other and 1 m wide. The participant overcomes the distance of the stage, running around the racks.

"Through the fence" - obstacles 40 cm high are installed on the track - for boys 6th grade. and 60 cm — for boys, 10 cl. in the amount of 6 pcs. every 5 m. The first obstacle is set at a distance of 10 m from the starting line.

"Jumper" - the participant overcomes the distance of the stage by jumping over a rope from foot to foot.

"Slider" - the participant covers the distance of the stage in a squat position, bringing the bent legs to the sides.

"Delivered the package" - the participant overcomes the distance of the stage with a package (envelope) in her hands, delivering it to the finish line.

A participant of each stage starts moving after his friend from the previous stage crosses the boundary line of his stage.

For violation of this requirement, the team is fined 0.1s. for each violation.

9. Contest of connoisseurs of the history of the Ukrainian Cossacks "History belongs only to those who fight and live for it..."

For the contest, the panel of judges prepares 5 questions on the history of the Ukrainian Cossacks. The team is given 1 minute for each answer. The form of the competition is arbitrary and is determined by the jury of the festival.

10. Presentation of the team "Don't flinch, red viburnum, you have a white flower. Don't be sad, glorious Ukraine, you have a good family..."

Presentation of the team is a presentation of the team using dance, vocals, artistic words; a demonstration of mastering the elements of a Cossack duel, which tells about the revival and preservation of the traditions of Ukrainian Cossacks in the region, educational institution. The duration of the presentation is up to 10 minutes.
