The history of the tourism and local history work of the Kolkiv Secondary School I-III degrees-lyceum begins in 1960, when a team of schoolchildren led by geography teacher Victor Mykhailovych Popenko participated in the first regional gathering of tourists, which took place in the city of Lutsk.
In recent years, students of our school have actively participated in various tourist competitions, both district and regional, where they have been many times prize winners and winners.
It is worth noting that in May 2012, the students of our school won the first place among the Manevytskyi district national team in the first place in the election_819 -5cde-3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_ delegations, namely: Taras Shulyakovskii, Meteshko Taras, Serhiy Markevich, Bohdan Zahorovets, Lyudmila Grachuk, Kateryna Yakovchuk, Oksenyuk Nazar, Inna Grachuk, Oleksandr Meteshko.

Sports tourism is a non-Olympic sport for overcoming a certain segment of the earth's surface, which is called a route.
Sports tourism aims to improve sports in overcoming natural obstacles. This means improving the entire complex of knowledge, skills, and physical fitness necessary for safe movement of a person on the terrain. People involved in sports tourism are athletes.
The main idea of sports tourism is the participation of athletes in sports trips, sports tourism competitions, excursions and expeditions.
Types of sports tourism
By types, sports tourism is divided into:

-motorcycle.
According to organizational forms, sports tourism is divided into:

- sports tourism competition;

Sports tourism competition
Hiking tourism competitions are held at the following distances: "Obstacle course", "Cross-country hike"; as well as in the form of special tasks.
"Obstacle Course" is a short, dynamic distance full of technical stages set on natural and artificial obstacles (slopes of different steepness and nature, rivers, swamps, thickets, rubble, etc.). It may include performing special tasks. Overcoming technical stages requires athletes to take clear actions in compliance with safety techniques for overcoming obstacles.
